Getting started with Tellet is straightforward. You'll create your account, verify your email, and be ready to build your first interview.
Visit the Tellet signup page. You'll need a few basic details:
Your information:
Set a secure password:
Your password needs at least 8 characters with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and a special character (!@#$%^&*). This keeps your research data secure.
Name your organisation:
This can be your company name, research team, or even just "[Your Name]'s organisation" if you're working solo. You can change this later.
Click Create Account, complete the security check, and you're almost there.
Check your inbox for a verification email from Tellet. Click the link to activate your account. The link is valid for 24 hours — if it expires, you can request a new one.
Can't find the email? Check your spam folder or the Promotions tab if you use Gmail. If it hasn't arrived, you can request a new one.
Once verified, log in with your email and password. Tellet automatically creates two things for you:
Your Organisation: You're the owner with full control. You can invite team members, create workspaces, and manage everything.
Your Private Workspace: Called "My workspace" by default, this is where you'll create your first projects. Only you can see it unless you explicitly share access.
Click your name or initials in the top right corner and select "Manage account" to personalise your account.
What you can update:
Profile picture upload is not currently available.
Changing your password:
Go to Manage account. You'll need your current password to set a new one.
Forgot your password? On the login page, click "Forgot Password" and we'll send you a reset link. Completing the reset also confirms your email — so this is the recovery path if your verification email never arrived.
For extra security, you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA). You'll need an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy on your phone.
To enable 2FA:
These backup codes let you access your account if you lose your phone.
"Email already registered"
An account with this email already exists. Try logging in or use the password reset option.
"Invalid phone number"
Make sure you include your country code (like +44 or +31) and use only numbers and the + symbol. No spaces or dashes.
"Email not verified"
If you log in before verifying, Tellet takes you to a "Check your email" screen and automatically resends the verification link (with a brief cooldown if you requested it recently). Check your inbox and spam folder.
Can't find any verification email? Requesting a password reset is a working recovery path — completing the reset confirms your email and lets you log in.
Can't log in?
Double-check your email (case doesn't matter) and password (case does matter). Use the password reset option if needed.
Now that your account is set up, you're ready to:
