Instructions are where you set up your AI interviewer: who it is, how it speaks, what language it uses, and how participants can answer. Complete all required fields before publishing your project.
All fields below are required to publish a project:
Select how participants can answer questions, using multi-select checkboxes. At least one type is required, and you cannot deselect all after an initial selection.
The name the AI interviewer uses. Text input, no character limit. Examples: "Alex", "Dr. Sarah Chen", "Jamie".
Your organisation's name. Text input, no character limit. Examples: "Stanford University", "Acme Inc."
Describes what you're researching and why. Text area, limited to 700 characters with a live counter showing remaining characters.
Describes who you're interviewing. Text area, limited to 100 characters with a live counter. Examples: "Small business owners with 5-50 employees", "College students aged 18-25".
Default language for interviews. Dropdown of 64 languages (see full list below).
Cantonese note: If you choose Cantonese, Tellet shows a notice that spoken (voice) answers are transcribed into standard written Chinese, so they appear in Mandarin written form; typed answers are unaffected.
Whether participants can choose a different language. Radio buttons:
Language used to generate insights. Dropdown of the same 64 languages. Can differ from the primary language; if interviews are conducted in multiple languages, all responses are analysed in this language.
The same Cantonese note applies here: choosing Cantonese as the analysis language shows a notice that spoken answers are transcribed and presented in Mandarin written form. Typed text answers are unaffected.
URL to your privacy policy. Text input that must be a valid URL format including https:// or http://. Example: https://yourcompany.com/privacy.
How the AI communicates with participants. Dropdown with five options: Friendly, Formal, Neutral, Empathetic, Challenging.
Optional custom theme with your colours and logo. Choose from themes created in Organization Settings:
