Can Tellet handle recruitment for me?
Yes. Fill in the form at https://tellet.ai/quotes and Tellet will manage recruitment via trusted panel partners.
Can I run a Tellet study in any country?
Tellet works in a country as long as the study language is supported. This covers most markets, including Saudi Arabia (Arabic) and Pakistan (Urdu or Punjabi). Check the full list of supported languages in the Exporting Data FAQ before you plan a study in a new market.
Can Tellet-Recruitment find a specific audience for me in a given country?
It depends on the target profile. Tellet-Recruitment works with vetted panel partners in many countries, but reaching a narrow or hard-to-find group (a niche job title, a rare condition, a low-incidence demographic) needs a feasibility check first. Send the target profile details, country, and desired sample size to [email protected] or the form at https://tellet.ai/quotes, and Tellet will confirm feasibility before fieldwork starts.
Can I bring my own participants?
Yes. Share the live interview link directly via any channel (email, WhatsApp, social media, QR code, or embedded on your website). To track individual respondents, append a unique participant ID to each link using ?participant_id=XXXX. This is passed back in completion links and stored with the conversation data. Contact [email protected] for detailed documentation.
How do participants access the interview?
Via a direct link, QR code scan, or embedded experience on your website. No app download, login, or account required. Make sure the project is published before sharing the live link.
Can participants pause and resume?
Yes. Progress is auto-saved after each response. Participants can close the browser at any time and resume by clicking the link again. They will see a "Welcome back!" message and continue from where they left off. Requirements: same device and browser, cache and cookies not cleared, project still published, quota not reached. Conversations are marked abandoned after 1 hour of inactivity.
Can participants switch devices?
No. Sessions are stored locally for privacy and security. Participants must complete the interview on the device where they started.
What happens if a participant drops out mid-interview?
Their conversation is marked as "incomplete" (status IN_PROGRESS or ABANDONED) in the Transcripts section. They can return provided the same-device/browser conditions are met and the quota has not been reached. Incomplete conversations are visible in the Transcripts tab under the Incomplete view. You can also manually mark incomplete conversations as complete from the Transcripts tab if needed.
How do you ensure participants are genuine?
Tellet only works with trusted, vetted panel partners. The voice-first approach adds an additional quality layer: you can listen to or watch participants respond, which is much harder to game than typed text responses.
How quickly can fieldwork be completed?
Fieldwork typically completes within 2 to 5 working days. Simple recruits with a high incidence rate can sometimes complete within 24 hours. Typical sample sizes range from 50 to 1,000 participants. The Tellet team keeps in daily contact with clients during active fieldwork.
Can I recruit via QR codes at events?
Yes. Generate a QR code in the Share tab. Participants scan it to open the interview in their browser immediately. Ideal for in-the-moment feedback at events, retail environments, or on product packaging.
Can I run B2B research on Tellet?
Yes. Tellet works particularly well for B2B. Busy professionals can participate on their own schedule without booking calls, and tend to be more candid with an AI moderator than with a human. Specialist B2B panel providers are available. You can also reach B2B audiences via targeted email campaigns or direct outreach using Tellet links.
Can I run research with Gen Z or younger audiences?
Yes. Younger participants are already comfortable with voice notes, video, text, and image responses. The conversational format feels more natural to them than surveys, and stimuli (video, audio, image) make the experience interactive and familiar.
Is there a minimum age for participants?
Yes. Participants must be 18 years or older to take part in a Tellet interview. We do not accept responses from anyone under the age of 18.
Can you recruit by income band?
Yes.
How do you ensure demographic and profile representation?
Tellet works with vetted panel providers and can set demographic quotas (age, gender, location, income, etc.) at the panel level to meet sampling requirements.
How do participants select their preferred language?
When landing on the welcome page, participants will find a language dropdown where they can select their preferred language before starting the interview.
On desktop — the language dropdown is visible directly on the welcome page, underneath the introduction text.
On mobile — the language dropdown is also on the welcome page, but may require scrolling down slightly to bring it into view.
Once a language is selected, the entire interview interface — including questions, consent text, and AI responses — will display in that language.
