What is Tellet?
Tellet is Europe's leading AI-moderated interview platform. It enables organisations to conduct asynchronous interviews at scale through an AI interviewer that asks questions, follows up on responses, and collects participant feedback via text, audio, video, or image. You get the depth of qualitative research combined with the speed and scale of quantitative methods.
How does Tellet work?
You create a project, write a discussion guide of up to 40 scripted questions, configure the AI moderator settings, and publish. Participants access the interview via a link. The AI asks your questions, listens to responses, and generates smart follow-up probes. Responses are automatically transcribed and analysed in real time. Results appear in dashboards with themes, quotes, sentiment, and quantified data. The end-to-end process: design > recruit > publish > collect > analyse > export.
How is Tellet different from a survey?
Surveys collect structured inputs (tick boxes, scales, short text) and tell you what people think. Tellet captures voice-first, conversational responses and shows you why. Participants speak naturally, the AI probes for depth, and outputs include full transcripts, AI themes, key quotes, sentiment analysis, and quant-style charts, all blended together. Tellet also supports stimuli (video, image, audio, PDF) and multiple response modes that surveys cannot replicate.
How is Tellet different from traditional qualitative interviews?
Traditional qual is deep but slow and limited in scale. A researcher might complete 10 to 30 interviews before hitting resource limits. Tellet runs hundreds of AI-moderated interviews in parallel, with automatic transcription and analysis. Insights are delivered in hours rather than weeks, at a fraction of the cost, and with complete consistency across every respondent.
What does 'voice-first' mean?
Voice is the primary response mode. Participants speak their answers, capturing tone, spontaneity, and emotion that text cannot. Even structured inputs such as ratings can be spoken ("I'd give it an 8 out of 10") and Tellet automatically quantifies these into bar charts alongside the qualitative insights. Text, video, and image uploads are also supported as additional modes.
What are the project statuses?
Draft: project is being configured and is missing required fields, cannot be published.
Ready: all required fields are complete and the project can be published.
Waiting for Approval: an Editor has requested approval from an Admin or Owner.
Request Approved: Admin or Owner has approved, ready to publish.
Published: live and collecting responses.
Completed: data collection has ended, all data preserved, analysis remains accessible.
Deleted: project has been soft-deleted and hidden from the workspace.
Do participants need to download an app?
No. Tellet is entirely web-based. Participants click a link and start immediately. No download, login, or account registration is required.
When should I use Tellet?
Use Tellet whenever you need to understand why people think, feel, or behave a certain way, but cannot afford the time or cost of traditional qualitative research. Ideal use cases: concept testing, brand positioning and discovery, customer journey and experience research, ad and campaign testing, innovation and product development, post-campaign evaluation, and employee or stakeholder listening.
