How does panel integration work?
Panel integration connects Tellet to external recruitment platforms and automates participant routing and completion tracking.
Flow: panel sends participant with a unique token via the Tellet link > participant completes interview > Tellet redirects back to the panel's confirmation URL with the token substituted. Panel confirms completion, credits the participant, and processes payment. No manual verification is needed.
How do I set up panel integration?
In the Share tab, toggle Panel Integration to ON > Enter a Provider Name (a nickname for this panel, e.g. "Prolific Batch 1") > Enter the Confirmation Link (the panel's completion redirect URL) > Optionally add a Screened Out Link and a Quota Full Link > Enable Auto Redirect (recommended for professional panels) > Save > Copy the panel-specific link (it has ?source=providerName appended) and give it to the panel provider. Always use this panel-specific link, not the regular interview link.
How does the placeholder system work?
Use --PARTICIPANTID-- in your redirect URLs where the participant token should appear. Use --PROJECTID-- for the project identifier. When the participant completes, Tellet substitutes the actual values automatically. Example: your confirmation link is https://panel.com/complete?id=--PARTICIPANTID-- and the participant's token is ABC123, so Tellet redirects to https://panel.com/complete?id=ABC123.
Can I use multiple panels for the same interview?
Yes. Click Add Panel to set up each provider separately. Each gets a unique panel-specific link. Name conventions matter: provider names must be unique after processing (spaces and special characters are removed and converted to camelCase). Use names like "Prolific Batch A" and "Norstat Batch A" to ensure uniqueness.
Which panel providers work with Tellet?
Any provider supporting redirect URLs and unique participant identifiers. Tellet most commonly works with Prolific, Sago, PureSpectrum, Norstat, and Prodege.
What redirect link types are available?
Confirmation Link (required): where to redirect after successful completion.
Screened Out Link (optional): where to redirect participants who fail screening.
Quota Full Link (optional): where to redirect participants when the study is full.
Poor Quality Link (optional): reserved for future use, not yet active.
What is Auto Redirect and should I enable it?
Auto Redirect ON: participant is immediately redirected to the confirmation URL after completing.
Auto Redirect OFF: participant sees a Thank You page with a manual link.
Keep Auto Redirect ON for professional panel studies. Turn it OFF only if you need to show debrief information before redirecting.
Can I download all media files from a transcript at once?
Yes — here's how:
Open the transcript
Click the export button in the top-right corner
Select Download media
All media files from that transcript will download together.
Note: This only works per transcript. There's currently no option to bulk-download media across all transcripts at once.
